 With our past newsletters, DentalSuccess.biz has offered several upcoming webinar programs for dental team members. Since many members have inquired about the webinars, we would like to take this opportunity to tell you a bit more about them.
So what is a Webinar? A webinar is a conference or presentation given over the Internet. A web conference is conducted with each participant sitting at their own computer in their home or office or even while traveling. With today's economy and the high price of gas and travel, webinars provide an excellent opportunity to learn while not having to spend enormous amounts of money. You can even join us in a program in your "jammies and fuzzy slippers!"
An important part of being a dental professional is the role of life-long learning. As hygienists and DANB certified dental assistants, it is a requirement of retaining our status. As other dental team members, changes in the profession occur at rapid rates and providing the best possible and updated care to our patients is imperative. Continuing education programs, whether locally or at distance, provide these opportunities. Many webinar programs offer opportunities to learn while not incurring the costs of travel. However, these programs are often taped and viewed at the participant's pleasure with no interaction with the presenter involved. Although these provide the education, they do not provide the interaction and camaraderie that is felt in a physical continuing education venue. That is where www.DentalSuccess.biz is different.
Our webinar series provides participants with the stay at home ease of web programs, but also the interaction that is lacking in other webinar programs. Our presenters will be with you "live" as the presentation is occurring so that you will be able to interact as if at a true continuing education event.
